Lift Shack Provisions

Privacy

This privacy policy describes how Lift Shack Provisions handles the information you share when you place an order, sign up for a share, or get in touch. We try to collect as little as we need and to be plain about how we use it.

What we collect

When you place an order or join a bread club, we collect the details needed to make and hand off your order — your name, your contact email, and the specifics of what you ordered. If you write to us, we keep the content of that message so we can reply and follow up.

We do not knowingly collect information from children, and the site is not directed at anyone under thirteen.

We never see your payment details

Payments are handled entirely through our secure checkout partner when you start an order. Your card number never passes through this website and is not stored by us. If you have a question about a charge, reach out and we'll point you to the right place.

How we use it

We use the details you share to confirm and fulfill your order, to answer your questions, and — only if you ask — to let you know when a new bake or share is available. We don't sell or rent your information to anyone.

Your choices & contact

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you at any time. To do so, or to ask any question about this policy, email us at hello@liftshackprovisions.com.

Terms

These terms apply to orders placed with Lift Shack Provisions. By placing an order, you agree to them.

Our craft & your order

Everything we sell is baked to order in small batches and picked up fresh from the shack. Because each order is made specifically for the household that placed it, availability depends on the weekly bake schedule and the order cutoff.

Pickup-first fulfillment

Orders are fulfilled by pickup at the shack during the weekly window. We're a cottage bakery operating under Vermont cottage-food rules, which means we don't run a walk-in retail counter and we don't ship orders through the mail. The full pickup detail lives on the pickup page.

Accuracy & changes

We work hard to keep descriptions and ingredient lists accurate, but seasonal bakes change and mistakes happen. If something about your order isn't right, tell us as soon as you can and we'll make it right — see the refund section below.

Governing law

These terms and any order placed with us are governed by the laws of the State of Vermont, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

Reaching us

Questions about these terms are welcome at hello@liftshackprovisions.com.

Refund & Shipping

We want you to be happy with what you pick up. Because everything is baked to order and perishable, this is how refunds and "shipping" actually work for a cottage bakery.

If something is wrong with your order

If your order isn't right when you pick it up — the wrong bake, a quality problem, or anything that doesn't meet the standard — tell us within two days and we'll make it right. That usually means a replacement on the next bake or a refund, at our discretion.

Because our breads and pastries are perishable, we can't accept returns of food that's already gone home with you beyond that window. But we always want to know if something missed the mark.

Cancelling or changing an order

Orders close at the weekly cutoff. If you need to cancel or change an order, reach out before the cutoff and we'll take care of it. Once an order is in the bake schedule, it may not be possible to change it.

Shipping

We don't ship. Orders are picked up at the shack during the weekly window — see the pickup page for the address, window, and cutoff. Cottage-food rules and freshness both point the same way: pickup, in person, the week it's baked.
